I was flicking through Twitter while eating my dinner, and I found this……….
You're a fucking member of Parliament, you pathetic, self-pitying infant. If you don't want to be criticized by journalists, go find another job. Seriously: your whining and self-absorbed victimhood is nauseating. The real victims are your constituents https://t.co/NlH2GvTKlG
Lately I’ve seen something incredible rare on social media these days: some posts about the NHS that are so sensible it’d be rude not to share, and not let them fade into obscurity:
The NHS does not need any more of our taxes. It gets more than enough already. It needs to cut the bureaucracy, cut the waste, stop treating the third world, focus on core requirements and charge health tourists the full whack. https://t.co/51ule7gDAi
103 PFI deals were struck by Labour for the NHS w/ a combined value of £11.4 bn. By the time they are paid off, they’ll have cost more than £65 billion. These are the same schemes Andy Burnham said in ’07 were “the right schemes & offer value for money.”https://t.co/uVujD3GJkd
TaxPayers’ https://t.co/mfvOJhYath singled out 1,129 “unnecessary” bureaucrats employed by the NHS. Among them was Homerton University Hospital Foundation Trust’s art curator and programme manager, who costs £33,258 a year in salary, pension payments and London weighting.

While the site’s been out of action due to glitches, former President Obama has been unleashing plans to screw-up one of the better bits of Chicago with his new Presidential Library, and it ain’t been going down too well.
Ridiculous: David Miliband & co stand in front of a basmati rice brand to re-launch Project Fear 2.1.x attempting to frustrate Brexit to keep us in the same EU which *banned* Indian basmati rice attacking millions of Indian farmers and European consumers.#LetsGetOnWithItpic.twitter.com/f4cGSRjwO7
Since opening the channel, that I’m still not 100% sure yet what I want to do with it, YouTube has made changes that make it harder to earn squat from it, but it’s still useful via the Subscriptions tab to find News + Politics/social commentary channels on the YouTube platform, as well as the Liked Video Playlist.
After 12-18months of gremlins caused by technical cock-ups, the blog is back at full strength.
It’s largely been fixed due to making another cock-up, deleting the whole thing, and re-installing with posts restored from a back-up.
I’m hoping to be able to get into the habit of writing on this thing more frequently, but we’ll see.
