Another of Our Followers Has a Book Out….

ConservativeChitChat has a number of published authors among our ranks of followers, including:

And now there’s a new one, and he’s written about it in more detail over at ConHome……..

The Book is called The Return of Meritocracy: Conservative Ideas for Unlocking Social Mobility, and sells in paperback form for £7.99 – no mention yet of a Kindle ebook edition, but it’s currently bagging a 5-star rating on Amazon with 6 reviews at time of knocking together this blog entry.

Journo Goes Nuclear on Labour MP

I was flicking through Twitter while eating my dinner, and I found this……….

Some Sensible Posts About the NHS

Lately I’ve seen something incredible rare on social media these days: some posts about the NHS that are so sensible it’d be rude not to share, and not let them fade into obscurity:

ConservativeChitChat Endorses “Fishing for Leave”

ConservativeChitChat approves of making Britain’s Fishing Industry Great Again via the group “Fishing for Leave”.

Looking through their posts on social media, you’d have to be a massive drooling vegetable with a turnip for a brain not to agree with them.

Obama: Making himself just as unpopular out of office as he was in it

While the site’s been out of action due to glitches, former President Obama has been unleashing plans to screw-up one of the better bits of Chicago with his new Presidential Library, and it ain’t been going down too well.

Now he’s apparently getting sued over it.

Bananaman Returns

David Milliband is..... Bananaman

When I got up today, my news feeds and timelines were filled with news of the return of Bananaman, brother of Beaker.

Apparently he’s tag-teamed with a cross-party bunch of has-beens to Remoan about Brexit, so he’s lost none of his old abilities to spout BS.

ConservativeChitChat arrives on YouTube

While the blog was down and out of action, I decided to take the opportunity to create a ConservativeChitChat YouTube Channel.

Since opening the channel, that I’m still not 100% sure yet what I want to do with it, YouTube has made changes that make it harder to earn squat from it, but it’s still useful via the Subscriptions tab to find News + Politics/social commentary channels on the YouTube platform, as well as the Liked Video Playlist.

The blog is back

After 12-18months of gremlins caused by technical cock-ups, the blog is back at full strength.

It’s largely been fixed due to making another cock-up, deleting the whole thing, and re-installing with posts restored from a back-up.

I’m hoping to be able to get into the habit of writing on this thing more frequently, but we’ll see.
